The Contoocook Housing Trust owns thirteen properties in four area towns, providing 55 rental units.

Our Homeownership Initiative program provides loans up to $10,000 at 5% interest, with flexible terms up to ten years.
Over the past number of years we have given two small homeownership grants and loaned nine families funds from our revolving loan program, to enable them to realize their goal of homeownership. Homes have been purchased with the help of our funds in six area towns: Antrim, Jaffrey, Hillsborough, Deering, Harrisville, and Peterborough. If you are trying to buy a house and need only a small loan for down payments, closing costs or minor needed repairs associated with purchasing a home and would like to apply for one of our homeownership loans, please refer to our Homeownership application page. |
